My name is Carly Rosemary, I am a self-taught hand poke tattooist.

Tattooing came into my life unexpectedly during college in 2016 and has evolved into a deep passion. My astrological big three are: Cancer Sun, Scorpio Moon, and Cancer Rising. These placements deeply influence my intuitive and empathetic approach to this work in combination with my other offerings.

By trade, I’m a wedding and portrait photographer (Visit my Photography Website Here)—but creating with my hands is where I find true catharsis as an artist. I hold a Bachelor’s of Art History from Arizona State University, a Level 2 Usui Reiki Ryoho attunement, and am a Certified Beauty Angels Academy Microblade & Shade Artist.

A Note from Carly—

“Hand-poke tattooing is a traditional method of tattooing practiced by many different cultures around the world that pre-date the motorized tattoo machine. Please keep in mind that my method of hand-poke tattooing is contemporary and adapted to current westernized techniques & industry standards.

My goal with Rosemary Ink is to create an inclusive and welcoming space to get tattooed—no matter your background or identity—with a special commitment to highly-sensitive persons (HSP), women, minority groups, and LGBTQIA+ individuals. My hope is for you to feel safe, valued, and respected throughout every step of your tattoo journey.

I truly believe that the body is a living temple for the soul & that tattoos, as bodily adornments, have the capacity to facilitate a deeper connection to our most authentic & highest selves. “
