What is Reiki?

Reiki is a Japanese energy healing practice that began in the early 20th century. The term "Reiki" combines two Japanese words: "rei," meaning universal, and "ki," meaning life energy.

How does Reiki work?

Reiki practitioners act as conduits for this life force energy, using their training to make subtle adjustments in their client's energy fields. This process aims to bring awareness, facilitate release, restore balance, and promote overall well-being.

Who does Reiki work for?

Reiki is accessible to everyone, regardless of prior experience or belief in its principles. Its widespread acceptance has led to its integration into hospitals, cancer-support centers, and palliative care as a complementary therapy. Many individuals report feeling more at ease, peaceful, and balanced after a session.

What can I expect?

Before your session, you will discuss your intake form, current concerns, and session intentions with Carly. During the session, Carly will gently move her hands just above your body, with your consent, to encourage a healthy flow of energy. Afterward, you’ll have time to share any emotions or sensations you experienced and Carly will provide feedback on your energetic field and areas for continued focus.
